Our school, sselaser.org just wants to let you guys and girls know to please protect your skin during these very cold and frigid days.  Upon checking the farmer’s almanac, we found our area is suppose to have one of the harshest winter’s of the century!   It’s important to protect your skin by wearing warm clothing, gloves, and use chap stick to protect your lips.  Never stay prolonged periods of time in weather with temperatures under 23 degrees.  This can lead to hypothermia even with the correct clothing and even frost bite.  Knowing is half the battle and knowledge is power!  Don’t forget it is also open enrollment at our school for both laser hair removal certification as well as electrolysis certification!  Register today from the comfort of your own home or office by going to sselaser.org and thank you for making us #1 in hands-on differentiated instruction!

It’s that time of the year again!!! Open enrollment for the 2017 semester has begun!! Get your degree in electrolysis and/or laser hair removal.  In the spring of 2017 we will be implementing a new program, it is the Doctoral Program of Permanent Hair and Tattoo Removal! You must first possess a Master’s degree in any field and have a certified letter from a med spa or clinic that they will at least allow you to work a minimum of 2 years with pay to attribute to an internship with documentation.  We have entered an exciting time in our field and the power of the mind is amazing!  We are for education and helping others, which is why our school, sselaser.org considered #1 in hands-on differentiated instruction. All of us here at sselaser.org just wanted to offer some helpful hints during these winter months.  The Farmer’s Almanac revealed that we (Residents of the Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and West VA area) are suppose to have one of the harshest winters of all time.  However, we are quiet not seeing it now since the temperature is currently 61 degrees outside here in Lexington, KY.  When and if this harsh weather comes its important to protect your skin by:

1.  Applying lip balm to lips in order to protect against blistering.

2.  Wearing the proper attire that adequately warms your body without excessive sweating or coldness.

3.  Drinking plenty of water before doing fun activities in the snow such as skiing, sledding, or snow balling.

4.  Wearing sunglasses if the sun is out while snow is on the ground, it will protect your eyes.
