We will be adding a new program in our curricula, “Doctoral Degree of Permanent Hair & Tattoo Removal. We already have got the program in place and one of our very own members has graduated from this distinguished program which makes it exciting for the entire school and clinic! We now have to register the program with the state to be nationally accredited or developing this pioneering program, but they are always very supportive so we anticipate no problems;) It is also open enrollment for both laser hair removal professional and certified electrologist in our school! Summer has begun and its still not too late to get in, make yourself look and feel the best you can, and enjoy that pre-planned vacation in the shortest amount of time! Our clinic would first like to say a prayer for those who lost their lives in Orlando, FL. It hit home for us because we actually have family there. We need to do a better job of letting others know that they cannot come to our country and force their religion on us! And to kill innocent people who have done nothing to you makes this an act of terrorism. That is why we live in America! You have the freedom to practice your religion so long that it doesn’t cause harm to yourself or others. Those that come to our country and think they can take over and make us believe in a certain way are gravely mistaken. Those people are usually terminated and remember, you can only control yourself, not others. That is the reason our fore fathers fought and died for our country, so that we may be free. And besides, you have to remember what God said about religion, “he hates it.”
We are still taking new patients for the Exilis but will soon cap off and unfortunately will longer be able to take any more patients due to a volume increase until we open another branch of the Bluegrass Skin Clinic. We will also have a flat screen in the upper corner of the waiting room which provides a running DVD that loops that will showcase all the different procedures we perform in our clinic. “To everyone that reads this, especially my former and current students, I got a weird call the other day. A lady had gone to another clinic and had severe burns from a laser hair removal treatment despite the fact that she was a prime candidate on the Fitzpatrick Chart. She asked me; “Do you think I should have shaved before the treatment”? My response?????; “You mean they didn’t make you shave”??? Her response; “NO”! So I began telling her the facts. Not shaving before a laser treatment is a major major contraindication!!!! lol First of all, the hairs (dark) probably absorbed most of the laser energy and the hairs also created a microscopic space, and in space most lasers gain energy unless collimated, of a different type of wave energy/frequency, or of a different origin in general. Her response; “That is why I got burned!!” My response; “Precisely”! So students please take notes and to anybody who thinks they can learn everything about laser hair removal in a 5 day training course (Unless you have an electrology and/or medical background involving the skin), sadly are gravely mistaken my friends.
