CLASS SCHEDULE AND CONTRACT 

On the date of enrollment all of the tuition or at least half is due. If tuition funds have not been received prior to the student’s start date, he or she will not be allowed to attend classes until those funds are received. All tuition funds are due for students orginally born outside the United States or who reside in other Countries prior to attending classes. All students will be issued a diploma upon completion of 350, 600, or 750 clock hours of Electrolysis training. Students also completing laser certifications will either be issused a 30 hour laser hair removal diploma, 30 hour tattoo removal diploma, or a 50 hour laser hair removal diploma depneding on their State of practice. All laser tuition funds are due prior to starting classes.

At the time of electrology class enrollment the tuition (at least 1/2), cost of books, registration, and supplies are to be paid in full. If a student does not complete a program within 1 year, he/she must reapply and pay the tuition for second time to be re-enrolled into the program. Once enrolled, a monthly payment must be made (regardless of the amount) to remain in the program. If a student misses two monthly tuition payments in a row, he or she will be expelled from our program, will have to reapply and pay the tuition for a second time in order to be re-enrolled in the program.
Tuition for 350 hours: $12500.00 Included is registration, books and supplies. Program must me completed within 4 months.
Tuition for 600 hours: $13700.00 Included is registration, books and supplies. Program must be completed in 6 months.

Tuition for 750 hours: $16000.00 Included is registration, books and supplies. Program must be completed in 12 months.


Laser training (Dependent on the state in which you will be practicing, regardless you would need 30 hours from a licensed/accredited instituion such as ours, otherwise you would be performing laser illegally since you would not quailify for the insurance to perform these procedures if getting your training from non-licensed/non-accredited schools/institutions, this holds true in the practice of electrolysis as well):
A $500 deposit is required for all laser students to schedule a time for training prior to attending.
50 hours: Laser Hair Removal Class–$3700.00 (Five day course) + $100 For Laser Manual/Supplies

30 hours: Laser Hair Removal Class– $2700.00 (Three Day course) + $100 For Laser Manual/Supplies       

30 Hours: Laser Tattoo Removal Class– $2700.00 (Three Day Course) + $100 for supplies
**Full payment of laser tuition is due on the first day of class and there is no refunds for this tuition under any circumstances/situations.

 
–All students must submit a copy of his/her driver’s license or a copy can be made in the our school.

I (the student) have agreed to pay 1/2  or all of the tuition today (or date of enrollment) and the remaining will be made in monthly payments by determining payments prorating  the remaining balance for a period of 12, 9 or 6 months (depending on the program) for the electrology program I elected to enroll in.  I understand tuition must be paid in full before a certificate is issued. I understand there will be a $50.00 late fee if the tuition is later than 5 days after the due date for that particular month, however we do not charge interest on the remaining balance.

Included in this will be subjects on Electrolysis, Thermolysis, and The Blend and all theories pertaining to these subjects. Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Infection control, Ethics, business law, setting up a business and digital marketing using social media/Internet.

I will be in attendance at the school for a period of four, six or twelve months, depending on the requirements for the state the student will be practicing. I understand all laser tuition programs must be paid up front and that there is no refunds for the laser tuition (if selected).

There will be no school on all holidays. 

Make-up days will be made up at the convenience of the school. 

DRESS CODE: Each student is to have a white lab coat and/or scrubs to wear for the class room and labs or student has the option to dress professionally.  

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: The student will have two weeks from the enrollment date to cancel, minus registration fee and cost of books to receive a refund (For electrology programs only).  No refunds are giving after payment of any laser class.

A student may be dismissed from class for the following reasons.

  • Below 80% GPA
  • Default on the tuition
  • Three unexcused absences
  • Disrespectful to instructor, other students, or clients/patients, with no refund of tuition.
  • Violating school rules and regulations according to Kentucky standards
  • Cheating, Loud or abusive language. Entering the class under the influence of alcohol or drugs of any kind (without a Rx from a board certified Physician). Putting client/patient safety in jeopardy.
  • Coming to class with a concealed or potentially dangerous weapon (without a Carry/Conceal License).  
  •  

    DIPLOMAS WILL ONLY BE ISSUED UPON FULL PAYMENT OF TUITION.

     

    I have read and fully understand the above. The president, or vice president, or one of the educators/directors of the school have also discussed the above rules for the school with me via phone and/or email and/or text and/or voice mail and/or facetime and/or voice message.  I understand that the above mentioned programs must be completed within a year.  Students who do not complete within a year will have to re-enroll and pay the tuition fee again for consideration. I understand that by signing the digital signature on this web page, I agree to the terms and conditions mentioned herein this school contract.

    Veteran Student Addendum – SOUTHEASTERN SCHOOL OF ELECTROLOGY AND LASER
    This catalog addendum applies to those students receiving U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefits payments (GI Bill) while attending Southeastern School of Electrology and Laser. Please acknowledge by your signature below (online digital signature on this web page) that you have read and understand the information in this addendum and have received, read and understand the school’s policies, rules and regulations.
    Conduct Policy: Students must conduct themselves in a respectable manner at all times. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior, as explained in the school’s rules of conduct, or as deemed unsatisfactory or inappropriate conduct by school officials, will result in termination of VA education benefits, and possible dismissal from
    Southeastern School of Electrology and Laser. Readmittance after conduct dismissal will be at the discretion of the school Director/Owner. Academic Progress Policy: The academic progress of students receiving VA education benefits is evaluated monthly at the end of the month. VA students must maintain a 75% or greater cumulative grade point average on tests, written and practical exams, and satisfactory and timely completion of all assignments, reports, projects, etc.
    Failure to meet these criteria will result in being placed on academic probation for one month. If satisfactory progress is not regained by the end of the academic probation period, VA education benefits will be terminated and the student will be subject to dismissal from school. Certification to VA for payment will not be resumed until satisfactory progress is regained. Readmittance after dismissal for academic reasons requires approval of the school Director/Owner.
    Attendance Policy: Students are expected to attend all classes. The attendance of students receiving VA education benefits is evaluated monthly at the end of the month. If circumstances prevent attendance at a particular class, prior notification is expected. If attendance falls below 80%, the student will be placed on attendance probation for one month. If the student has not returned to satisfactory attendance at the end of the one month attendance probation period, VA education benefits will be terminated and the student will be subject to dismissal from school. Certification to VA for payment will not be resumed until satisfactory attendance is regained. Students absences result from authorized mitigating circumstances, as determined by the school Director/Owner, will not be terminated.
    Readmittance after dismissal for violating attendance standards requires approval of the school Director/Owner. Conditions of re-entrance for those students dismissed for unsatisfactory progress: A student whose training is interrupted due to unsatisfactory progress who wishes to re-enter, may do such after 30 days. At this time, the student will receive individual counseling from the school Director to determine if the cause of unsatisfactory progress has been removed and to see if the student is still suitable in his or her aptitudes, interest and abilities. The Director will then make a decision regarding the student’s re-entry to the school. After the student re-enters, he or she will be evaluated after a 30-day probation period to determine if they are making satisfactory progress (75% grade point average). Prior Credit Policy: Per Title 38, Code of Federal Regulations (38 CFR), Section 21.4253 (d)(3), previous training and experience will be considered, and granted if appropriate, for veterans and other eligible students. Veterans must submit a copy of their DD Form 214 and/or military transcripts, and all students must request that transcripts from all previous postsecondary schools attended be forwarded to Southeastern School of Electrology and Laser for review. Pro-Rata Refund Policy for Veterans and other Eligible Students: Per CFR 21.4255, Southeastern School of Electrology and Laser has a pro-rata refund policy for the refund of the unused portion of tuition, fees (if applicable) and other charges in the event the veteran or eligible person fails to enter the course or withdraws or is discontinued therefrom at any time prior to completion. Reporting Tuition and Fees: School’s Application and/or registration fees that also includes Test and/or Licensure fees cannot be certified to the VA.A detailed description of tuition and fees charged must be provided in the school’s catalog, student handbook, and student’s enrollment agreement. Certifying tuition and fees: According to the School Certifying Official Handbook 5th Edition; “Tuition is the actual established charges for tuition the student is required to pay. Tuition is defined in the school’s catalog or supplement and listed as tuition on the school’s billing statement or invoice. Fees are mandatory charges (other than tuition, room, and board).” Tool Kit & Supply Cost can only be certified if purchased directly through the school and appears on the school’s billing statement or invoice. If options to purchase the tool kit/supplies from an outside source, then the school cannot certify the fee to the VA. Full-time Requirements for VA Educational Benefits: Non-College Degree (NCD) schools are measured in clock hours. Benefits are paid based on the clock hours of attendance per week as stated in the school’s catalog, student handbook, and/or student enrollment agreement. If clock hours per week vary and the benefit amount is affected, the variance must be reported for calendar weeks, Sunday through Saturday, between the beginning and ending dates.     IMPORTANT NOTICE: Students whose VA education benefits are terminated for violating academic progress or attendance standards may experience a negative impact to their VA education benefits that could result in SIGNIFICANT DEBTS owed to the VA. Southeastern School of Electrology and Laser does not use erroneous, deceptive, or misleading practices with our veteran or non-veteran students.
    A copy of the signed addenda must be provided to the student and a copy maintained in the school’s files.
